Common questions
- I bought Wax Seals or a clause, but it didn't arrive.
- Close the game completely and open it again; pending purchases are delivered when the game starts. If it still hasn't arrived, email us with the receipt Apple or Google sent you.
- How do I get a refund?
- Refunds are handled by the store. On iPhone, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, use your Google Play order history.
- I deleted the game. Can I get my progress back?
- On iPhone, yes: your progress is saved to your Apple Account through Game Center. Make sure you are signed in to Game Center (Settings → Game Center) and that iCloud Drive is on. Reinstall the game on an iPhone signed in to the same account and open it; your cases, stars, streak and Wax Seals come back on their own within a few seconds. On Android, progress is currently saved only on the device.
- How do I unlock the Daily Challenge and the Baker Street Files?
- Solve Case 20 to unlock the Daily Challenge, and Case 80 to unseal the Baker Street Files.
- Why can't I play a solved case again right away?
- After you solve a case, Play Again sets a new night in the manor, which takes 3 hours. You can skip the wait by watching an ad, or with the Star Reset Clause.
- I think a case has the wrong answer.
- Every case has exactly one answer you can reach by logic, but we want to know if one looks wrong. Email us the case number and who you accused.
